It’s something I started doing with my very first step into the creative industry. While finishing the last year of a Photography Degree living in Texas, I became an intern at a fashion photography studio in Dallas. As an intern you become the valuable all-hands-on-deck runner for solving every problem that may arise in the day. My goal was to become indispensable to that studio, which indeed earned me a full-time position as studio Manager, assistant and producer.
Ultimately, I always wanted to work as an advertising photographer. I moved into large corporate “in-house” studios fine tuning my photographic and lighting skills until I opened my own studio, Chris Hynes Photography in 2002. As an independent photographer and business owner, I found myself leaning into my early skill set of making the magic happen out of absolutely nothing. This willingness to dig in and find all the special requests for clients has become part of what sets the studio apart. I always ask myself, along with the folks who collaborate with me,what else can we bring to this project to make our client’s experience something that makes their lives better.
In 2019, I knew it was time to “go big or go home”, as I jokingly phrased it. I had always felt frustrated that Madison, WI was constantly viewed as a “cute little creative community” and not recognized as a serious competitor in visual imaging industry. All the other major cities had the various resources available for the top advertising agencies and creative talents to gather and complete their projects.
So, we opened our new rental studios, GHP Studio and production facility that Fall and like the rest of the world held our breaths (literally and figuratively) for the next several years and digging in for our survival. We came out the other side of the COVID19 crisis grateful for the experience in believing anything is possible. I believed then, and now, that our corner of the world can be as big a destination for companies, agencies and corporate clients looking for a creative solution with the bonus of a city that is a joy to spend time in.
OK…but what exactly is 360 creative production and management you ask? Put simply, it is the all-encompassing process of turning any idea into a final visual product. If you have a great chocolate chip cookie recipe and want to sell those cookies to the world… you can bring that idea, right here. We will start with a conversation about your goals, your dreams and, of course, your immediate needs. Perhaps you just need help fine tuning the recipe for scaling into larger production -we can connect you to food industry specialists who can help. If you already have the cookies in production and you need to get them to customers, we can connect you to the right agency or marketing company for logo designs and packaging. Finally, when the time comes to show off how amazing your cookies are, we will build the visual content team to handle creating your brand’s image.
What makes our process a little different is how involved you would like us to be in the entire process. It’s like having an on-demand marketing team that is flexible, adaptable and more importantly, dependable. We grow with you- your success is our success.
